Roles and Responsibilities
At Farsophone, we warmly welcome passionate and committed individuals who want to support the mental health and wellbeing of Persian-speaking communities. Whether you are a qualified counsellor, trainee, group facilitator, or support staff, your contribution is highly valued, and we strive to provide a collaborative and respectful working environment.
Typical roles at Farsophone include:
Qualified Counsellors and Psychotherapists
Group Facilitators and Workshop Leaders
Administrative and Project Support Staff
Key responsibilities may include:
Providing one-to-one counselling in Farsi and/or English
Offering emotional support in a safe, confidential, and culturally sensitive manner
Maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical standards
Participating in regular supervision and ongoing training
Keeping accurate and up-to-date client records
Supporting the development and delivery of community projects and mental health workshops
Collaborating with the wider team to ensure high-quality service delivery
